1. Clean mat after each use.
2. If you use a mat cover, such as Yogitoes, clean mat periodically and machine wash mat cover frequently. I've been spraying my mat cover with Sarah's Wicked Witch Hazel after each use and then machine washing after two uses.
3. Clean the area around your mat after class. Many classes are back to back, so be courteous and clean up. This will not only welcome newcomers to a clean space, but it will help the instructors prepare for the next class. |
